The children go positively skipping into school each day. We have always been very happy with Woodlands, and if any little concerns have cropped up which are few and far between we have always been able to discuss this direct with the teacher due to their open door policy.
We just wanted to say how much we appreciate everything you do to make Woodlands such a fantastic school. We couldn’t be more thrilled at how school life has started for Fleur. She jumps and bounces into school each day… she loves telling us about what she can read and write and say each day and I feel that we know exactly how to support her learning because of all the fantastic communication from the teachers… it just astounds us how incredibly friendly and warm all the staff are.
Children are well behaved, teachers very friendly & welcoming. Always love attending events there as well organised & fun.
I just wanted to say what a wonderful positive funny and engaging Head he is. He has this wonderful outlook on life and ability to connect the children to learning in a fun way. Megan has never ever been so happy as she is now and comes home bouncing with energy from Mrs K and the schools ethics and teaching style. She is literally a different child to the one I had 6 months ago who didn't want to go to school. I think the school deals with complex relationships and challenges brilliantly, embraces differences amongst the children and let's them be themselves. Thank you for making my daughters' last year as a child a perfect one.
I cannot emphasise enough what a wonderful Kindergarten department you have. Krishan has settled in so effortlessly and this really is down to the wonderful teaching staff. We are so happy with Ms Streets and the team. We thoroughly enjoy reading the observations on Tapestry and the many pictures. I feel I know exactly what Krishan has been doing and I can talk to him about it. It all looks like so much fun and my husband and I commented on how lucky these children are to be part of Kindergarten at Woodlands.
I just wanted to write to let you know how well I believe Neha is doing in Year 4. She absolutely loves coming to school and has become so inspired by Mrs Peet especially in English. As a parent, I am really pleased with the progress so far.
