Admissions Process

Choosing a school or nursery for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. We are committed to helping you make the best choice for your child and welcome the opportunity to introduce you to all that Woodlands has to offer. Our Admissions Registrar is here to guide you through every step of the process. Our aim is to make the admissions process as simple and straightforward as possible.

Visiting the school

We invite you to visit us through attendance at one of our regular Open Mornings or through arranging an informal private tour. A visit will enable you to; explore our grounds and facilities, meet the Head Teacher and also include a visit to your child’s appropriate year group. Our Admissions Registrar will also be on hand to answer all your questions about the admissions process, class availability and to discuss how we can best meet your family's needs.

Registering your child

Once you have determined that Woodlands is the right school for your child, we ask that you formally register your interest by completing our Registration Form which can be submitted online. At this stage a non-refundable registration fee of £75 is now due.

Pupil taster 

Your child will be invited in for a taster session, to experience a typical school day at Woodlands, with a class from a suitable year group. 

Offer of a place

Following your child's taster day and in consultation with the Head Teacher, our Registrar will issue you with a formal offer letter, outlining your child’s start date, requesting a deposit of £600 to secure the place. 

Place acceptance

Upon our receipt of your formal acceptance and the deposit of £600 deposit, you will receive confirmation of your child’s place along with further information in preparation for your child joining us.
