Choosing a school or nursery for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. We are committed to helping you make the best choice for your child and welcome the opportunity to introduce you to all that Woodlands Schools and Little Acorns Nurseries have to offer. We're here to guide you through every stage to ensure the admissions process is as simple and straightforward as possible.
Admissions Process: A Step by Step Guide
Please contact our Admissions Registrar in the first instance to discuss your requirements.
Admissions Registrar: Debbie Cook

Visit the school
We invite you to visit us through attendance at one of our regular Open Mornings or through arranging an informal private tour. A visit will enable you to explore our grounds and facilities, meet the Head Teacher and visit your child’s appropriate year group. Our Admissions Registrar will also be on hand to guide you through the admissions process, discuss availability and answer any questions you may have.
Register your child
Should you wish to apply for a place, we ask that you formally register your interest by completing our Registration Form which can be submitted online. At this stage a non-refundable registration fee of £75 is required. A copy of your child's most recent school report will also be requested for applications in Years 1 - 6.
Your child will be invited to attend a taster session within their appropriate year group to experience a typical school day at Woodlands.
Following your child's taster day and in consultation with the Head Teacher, our Registrar will confirm our offer of a place and provide you with a formal offer. At this stage a deposit of £600 is required to formally accept and secure the place.
Upon our receipt of your formal acceptance and the deposit of £600, you will receive confirmation of your child’s place along with further information in preparation for your child joining us.
Settling in Sessions
Where appropriate, your child will be invited to attend a settling in session to meet with their classmates and teacher prior to their entry date.
